Join in as The Scotsman, the Sloth, and the Southerner delve into the week's books with unexpected overlap, tackling such titles as the previously unannounced new BKV book The Private Eye, the other BKV book that's so good that it's getting too boring to review - Saga, the one book that proves Mark Waid can do no wrong in Daredevil, New Avenging in New Avengers, the end of an arc in Wonder Woman, and one man's torture continued through the existence of Justice League of America. Then in the news, listen to the three pour through 370 different stories at once, including a stockpile of creative team exits at DC, the second coming of Marvel Gaiman, and the one comic book this year that'll have you doing the Batusi all over again. In which The Off-Panelists pair up a pair of pooches and win trivia contests, as the Spaniard, the Sloth, and the Southerner go about bringing forth yet another trio of terribly misinformed reviews and opinions. Beginning with their thoughts on the latest Gorr-centric chapter of Thor: God of Thunder, they also review standouts such as the "serious" issue of Daredevil, the Saga-esque issue of Saga and the supposed death of a major character, the conclusion to the "Throne of Atlantis" arc in Justice League, two polar opposite reactions to Hickman's latest chapter of Avengers, and finally, some Justice League of America #1 thoughts. Rantings, whatever. Also, beginning in this episode - The OPP Lightning Round! Which comics make the cut? Which are quietly ignored? All we know is, this podcast is a comics podcast wrapped inside a case for mental illness.

In which The Off-Panelists get freaky about WW2 and stalk women for long periods of time in this extra long episode! As the Scot, the Spaniard, the Sloth, and the Southerner dive into a cavalcade of debauchery while discussing the long-awaited debut of Lemire's Green Arrow, the penultimate...ish issues of the Rotworld event running in both Animal Man and Swamp Thing, the contrast use of magic against science in the world of Earth 2, a chapter of New Avengers that has one member thinking of a crisis of identifiable proportions, and many more reviews. Following up on this is talk of the most recent cancellations in The New 52, the Justice League film that's on the ropes, why Mark Millar isn't very intelligent, and whether or not an entire company can burn out. In which the Skirt joins the Spaniard and the Southerner for a devil's three-way in this week's Off-Panel. After a lengthy bull session that includes being charmed with the Spaniard's roguish accent, a failed intervention, and the disturbing love of a man and his meat, they finally get into the comics of the week. While the Spaniard bites at anything with a hint of magic in it, the Skirt fights for women's lib in comics. After comics, the trio talk time travel and animated series in this week's news items. And, before the episode is over, someone will die! But not really. OR DO THEY?! They don't. OR DO THEY?!

Episode 58

In which the Scot and Spaniard are rejoined by the Southerner. They discuss the Spaniard's "unique" style of seduction and then venture into the relatively much more pleasing topics of Nazis and slavery. After questioning Wolverine's barbering skills, comparing their size of their "pull lists", and speculate on how many people Alan Moore can eat with his beard, they get into a lengthy news item that include a reverse gender Jimmy Olsen and Rob Liefeld's film magnum opus. After news, they carry out the usual berating of the dedicated listeners.

Episode 51

In which, fresh off the hangover of Episode 50, the Scot and Southerner break free of the three panelist holding them back and venture forward into Episode 51 by themselves. After breaking the ice with noire and the most depressing Archie story ever told. They then dive into a few of this week's books, including an impressive #1 and too much time spent on the Middle East. The two pontifacators then get into the week's lone news item before they finish with listener questions.

It's fried chicken vs. haggis.

Kilts vs. klan hoods.

Whoever wins, we all have to suffer a goofy accent!

In which the crew just can't seem to get enough of a certain word, as the triumvirative efforts of the Southerner, the Sombrero, and the Sloth reach a new low in attempt to reign in the show and talk about the week's books. Listen to the three stumble through a variety of topics, ranging from their confusion over Marvel's bizarre obsession with points, just what the heck really happened in a few DC favorites, the mindset of Whedon's Post-"Avengers" plans, and how one character seems to be routinely screwed over in alternate media. Episode 15

In which the crew welcome a third guest co-host as they try and decide whether it's truly okay to be gay - in comics, at least. They also play the gender mishmash game by answering the question of which characters could benefit from a sex change and why, tackling both sensitive subjects with a combination of brains and other appendages. For the first time in the history of OPP, the show is forced to go ahead without it's resident loveable Scotsman John Lees... or is it?

Featured in this week's episode: Standard reviews of the week's DCnU titles, a Marvel title about a team led by an affectionate uncle, some titles that barely anyone has consistently read, and talk of a fan's publicized backlash against a supposed agenda in comics - that are quickly proven false by the writer placed under the scrutiny. Burn in hell, Martinez!
