OFF THE PANEL #9 - Moon Knight: The Bottom

In the ninth installment of the series, the Sloth (Alex Koch) enlists a brand new voice into the myriad of Off Panel alumni - The Australian, better known as #1 Moon Knight fan Matt Fuss - in order to help dissect the many personalities of Marvel Comics' premiere schizophrenic vigilante. As much of a character study as a review of an acclaimed graphic novel, the two dive into the surprisingly layered world of the one character in comics who can be three or four people at once and yet still be called a Batman ripoff by almost everyone. Considered to be the big breakout story under the Moon Knight label since his creation in the 80's, listen to the only two fans on the planet of this character delve deep into Moon Knight: The Bottom.

OFF THE PANEL #6 - Scalped

In episode six, the Scot (John) and the Southerner (Matt)return to examine a neo-noir classic published by Vertigo. Themes of destiny, corruption, families, and the price of freedom are all present as the members of the Prairie Rose Reservation play out their fates in the sixty issue crime comic epic SCALPED, by Jason Aaron and R.M. In which The Off-Panelists are such dirty pervs and lust for man-meat, debating their qualifications for marriage material as they react to some of the bigger second and third day news items from Comic-Con. And all in under an hour and fifteen minutes! It's a brand new day at OPP, and the crew i eager to share what they've got with you, the listener. Because if you don't listen, no one will!

So many awkward pauses, so little time.

In which The Off-Panelists take it easy for the week and forget that they're doing a podcast, going into reviews a-plenty and settling old scores. With the Southerner, the Sloth, and the Seducer in to repeatedly insult a noticeable absence, the three set about reviewing their books for the week and get a fangirl's opinion on the latest sadistic offerings for the return of Batman's greatest enemy, transform and roll out, hope that Jason Aaron didn't kill off one of his own beloved creations, and mull over the all-important question: Is the status quo always a good thing? Plus, the three review the pilot episode of The CW's "Arrow". Did it hit or miss? Listen in to find out.
