Episode 116



In which the Off-Panelist complain about work, movies, and the general mehness of life. While the reformed Sloth complains about work, the Sphinx warns of the perils of Internet Explorer... six years after everyone stopped using it. After talking up the Marvel movies and declaring their down with DC, they get into this week's books. Among those are the Image Comics crime book Southern Bastards and a bunch of other books I don't care about because they're not Southern Bastards! You whores! Written by Matt Johnson, FYI

Episode 103




In which the Off-Panelist have another guest! The occult detective duo of Haggis & Grits  channel the five spirits of podcasting to call forth special guest Frank J. Barbiere, writer of the acclaimed Image series Five Ghosts: The Haunting of Fabian Grey and the forthcoming White Suits, to join them on the show. After dishing on news, on which the Scotsman reveals exciting news about a project, they talk about Scalped for way too long (are you surprised?!) the interview commences. Frank dishes on his New Jersey punk rock roots and doppelganger band maters, to what inspires both him and Five Ghosts artist Chris Mooneyham, to the uber good and uber violent White Suits, before hinting at the future to come and, perhaps, the best name for a book of all time: Magnus, Robot Fighter!

Themes of destiny, corruption, families, and the price of freedom are all present as the members of the Prairie Rose Reservation play out their fates in the sixty issue crime comic epic SCALPED, by Jason Aaron and R.M. Guéra.

In which the Off-Panelist travel to Earth 69 for sexytime. Join the Skirt, Spaniard, and Southerner as they chew the fat on everything from pies and video games, to fighting chickens and pornstar doppelgangers of superheroes. Oh, and comics. From East of West's always epic dialogue to Saga and Merce's constant confusion on what's going on in the book, to Demon Knights and, somehow, a book that DC cancelled months ago.

Episode 35


In which The Off-Panelists plot to send an asteroid heading towards Earth in attempt to rid them of a constant nuiscence, before realizing that they've actually got comic books to talk about. Once the confusion settles, the Spic, the Hick, the Prick, and SICBA Award Winner John Lees decide that Rob Liefeld is the true d-list of the comic book industry, before commencing the circle jerk for a Marvel book, getting onto eachother for not reading their own recommendations, complaining about the lack of a certain costume feature on one of DC's most recent reinventions, and fight against the dreaded menace of bald testicle lumps. Die, Scot Kimball, die!
